Full Screen mode in IE7 (from Smart
Computing Nov 2008)
To reach full-screen mode in
IE7, press the “F11” key and the
browser window will expand to fill the entire screen without the tool
bars. Note that the tool bars will not
be available when you use this procedure.
If you move the cursor to the top of the screen, the Internet explorer
bar will drop down and you can navigate to another website in the full-screen
mode.
An alternative short cut
method to reach the browser bar is to press the “CTR & L” at the same time, this will open a dialog box where
you can enter the URL and go to another website.
To reactive the tool bar, press the “F11”
key again and tool bars will reappear.
If you do not re-active the tool bars they will not appear the next time
you open IE7, even though you exited out of the browser previously, the “F11” will reactive them at any point.
NOTE: This will also work for a Firefox browser
